The carbon footprint label will be shaded according to the amount of carbon emissions associated with each clothing and textiles product. For example, a fully shaded footprint would signal to the consumer that the product’s production resulted in high carbon emissions, symbolising a lasting environmental impact. At the bottom of the icon, the precise carbon measurement will be displayed. This combination of visual and numerical information is intended to make the label clear and accessible to all audiences.
